Architectural Technologist

About the role

We are seeking an Architectural Technologist to develop building models in Revit and produce coordinated construction documents from design development through construction completion. The role is based in our Orillia office, with a hybrid schedule allowing up to two remote days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects from design development to construction completion.
• Prepare design, permit, and construction drawings.
• Identify and resolve technical problems.
• Participate in presentations to clients, stakeholders, and public forums.
• Assist in planning, permitting, and other approval processes.
• Coordinate documents with engineering consultants and other disciplines.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Post‑secondary diploma in Architectural Technology.
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (Part 3) and ability to discuss it with authorities.
• Self‑motivated, receptive to direction, and capable of working independently or within a team.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (gas reimbursed for out‑of‑town sites).
• Construction administration or general review experience is a plus.
