Architectural & Interior Design Technologist

About the role

Our client, a well‑established architecture and design firm in Calgary, is seeking an Architectural & Interior Design Technologist to join their collaborative team. The role involves working on interior production from concept through construction documents, supporting a variety of commercial, public and residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑level interior designs and detailed drawings.
• Produce full working drawing packages, construction documents and development permits.
• Coordinate interior detailing, submittals, tender packages and city liaison.
• Contribute to design development, project management and mentorship of junior staff.
• Collaborate across multiple sectors, including retail, hospitality, multi‑family and mixed‑use projects.

Required profile

• 5–13 years of experience as an architectural or interior technologist.
• Strong technical background with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality design and service delivery.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit for architectural and interior detailing.
• Ability to design details, produce interior detailing and create construction documents.
