Architect – Design & Project Delivery

About the role

We are a respected architectural studio on Vancouver Island seeking an experienced Architect to join our collaborative team. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from concept through construction, contributing to a diverse portfolio of public and private sector developments.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases, from planning and design to construction close‑out.
• Produce architectural drawings, designs, and presentation materials using industry‑standard software.
• Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documentation.
• Collaborate directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Assist with project coordination, problem‑solving, and design development.
• Conduct site visits and support construction administration activities.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency across all deliverables.
• Contribute to business development efforts.

Required profile

• Registered Architect or Intern Architect eligible through AIBC (preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of architectural experience in North America.
• Experience with community, healthcare, or public/institutional projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with SketchUp.
• Proficiency with Photoshop.
