Architect – Design and Project Management

About the role

We are seeking an Architect to join our team and lead the design and execution of renovation and new building projects. The role involves close collaboration with clients, managing project timelines, and ensuring design quality from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction.
• Lead project management activities, including developing design specifications, material selections, cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Create sketches, models and detailed plans that describe building designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses for building projects.
• Supervise technologists, technicians and other architects, and monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Handle office management tasks and participate in staff recruitment and selection.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent diploma in a related program (1–2 years).
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in architectural design or construction projects.
• Strong ability to communicate with clients and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on meeting design and regulatory standards.
