Apprentice electrician

About the role

Tech-all Electrical Inc is seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join its team in Calgary. This full‑time, permanent apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience across residential, commercial and industrial projects, with training at every level of the trade.

Key responsibilities

• Install underground wiring, surface‑mount and overhead cables, and connect power to audio‑visual equipment.
• Design and construct single‑phase and low‑voltage (30‑750 V) multi‑phase services for a variety of installations.
• Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground‑fault integrity; troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
• Ground and bond electrical equipment, including swimming pools, hot tubs and emergency power systems.
• Supervise and instruct junior apprentices while maintaining professionalism in customer service.

Required profile

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent training.
• Valid driver’s licence, own transportation and tools.
• Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding, fast‑paced environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
