Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Join Select Aviation as an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and support the safe, reliable operation of aircraft. You will work alongside experienced mechanics, applying technical knowledge to maintain and repair a variety of aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, repair, and overhaul aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, flight‑control, fuel and pneumatic systems according to specifications, technical drawings and manuals.
• Inspect maintenance work performed by mechanics and ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical system issues.
• Dismantle, clean, repair and re‑assemble airframes, engines and related components.
• Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications and technical instructions to guide work.

Required profile

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field.
• Willingness to work shifts, including days and weekends.
• Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
