About the role

Partyhat is looking for a high‑availability Animator to inject kinetic energy into its web ecosystem. This fully remote, asset‑focused role demands rapid production of clean, optimized motion assets that integrate seamlessly with modern UI layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and animate characters, environments, and custom icons while preserving volumetric integrity and visual energy.
• Conceptualize and execute high‑octane visual effects for critical user interactions and milestones.
• Collaborate with Front‑end Engineers to embed smooth micro‑animations and transitions into web layouts.
• Produce storyboards, animatics, and scene compositions to lock down narrative momentum before production.
• Optimize assets for web delivery (JSON/Lottie, WebP, layered image sheets) ensuring instant load times.
• Maintain a perfectly cataloged library of master files for real‑time access by design and product teams.

Required profile

• Deep mastery of core animation mechanics such as timing, squash‑and‑stretch, anticipation, and dynamic color theory.
• A professional showreel demonstrating raw kinetic flow, weight distribution, and high‑impact composition.
• Ability to respond quickly to feature drops and live‑campaign pivots with real‑time asset updates.
• Self‑motivated, highly structured, and capable of managing complex timelines without oversight.

Required skills

• Adobe After Effects – advanced keyframing, expressions, and VFX composition.
• Spine 2D – elite skeletal animation and mesh deformation.
• Adobe Photoshop – clean layer preparation and asset decoupling.
• Adobe Illustrator – vector graphic management for motion pipelines.
