Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality native Android applications for our clients. The role requires strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of Android fundamentals, and the ability to work directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement production‑grade Android apps using Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, analytics, push notifications, and secure storage.
• Apply MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization, and repository/use‑case patterns to ensure scalable codebases.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and support automated testing pipelines.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to incorporate Jetpack Compose and other Jetpack libraries.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, code quality tooling, and release processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building native Android applications.
• Fluency in French is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort in client‑facing situations.

Required skills

• Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle.
• MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization, repository pattern, dependency injection.
• Unit testing with JUnit, MockK/Mockito, Turbine, coroutine testing.
• Jetpack libraries: ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room, WorkManager, Navigation, Hilt/Dagger, Jetpack Compose.
• Integration with REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication, analytics, push notifications, secure storage.
• CI/CD for Android, automated testing, code quality tools, release pipelines.
