About the role
We are seeking an Alarm System Technician to join Avaa Networks in Winnipeg. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining alarm and other electronic equipment for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Install electronic equipment at customer sites.
- Repair or replace defective or worn‑out parts using hand, power, or specialized tools.
- Calibrate products using hand tools.
- Complete work orders and produce test and maintenance reports.
- Prepare cost estimates and provide customer service.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in electronic equipment installation or repair.
- Availability for various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and on‑call duties.
