Advanced Repair Planner – Collision Center

About the role

Crown Autobody & Glass is seeking an Advanced Repair Planner/Estimator to join its state‑of‑the‑art collision centre. The role reports to the Collision Centre Manager and serves as the primary liaison between MPI and centre operations, delivering accurate estimates and blueprints for vehicle repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle, reassemble and pre‑wash vehicles to perform thorough tear‑downs for accurate damage assessment.
• Document accident damages with paint‑pen markings, photographs and detailed descriptions.
• Produce estimates using MPI policies, OEM repair procedures and capture all labor and parts operations.
• Collaborate with production, parts, CSR and MPI teams, providing regular updates on estimated vehicles.
• Estimate an average of five vehicles per day for internal and retail customers while ensuring compliance with cost, quality, safety and delivery standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of autobody estimation experience or equivalent training.
• ICAR certification preferred or willingness to become certified.
• Hands‑on experience with Mitchell Connect or comparable industry software.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
