About the role
The Administrative Support I provides essential clerical and administrative assistance to the Community Outreach branch of the Regional Community Mobilization Department. This full‑time, temporary position supports the delivery of community events, training courses, and program documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and format letters, memos, reports, and other documents using word‑processing and spreadsheet software.
- Coordinate registration for community events and training, prepare materials, record test results, and distribute confirmations and sign‑in sheets.
- Maintain program records, take and distribute meeting minutes, and manage filing systems.
- Process financial documents, including purchase requisitions, petty cash, expense claims, and monthly credit‑card reconciliations.
- Enter survey and Mental Health Act apprehension data into spreadsheets.
- Answer telephone inquiries, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and ensure office supplies and equipment are maintained.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus office administration training or relevant experience.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Microsoft Outlook – intermediate proficiency.
- Microsoft Word – intermediate proficiency.
- Microsoft Excel – intermediate proficiency.
- Well‑developed keyboarding and data‑entry abilities.
