About the role
The Administrative Assistant for the Safety & Family Partnership Department provides high‑quality administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to ensure the office runs smoothly while safeguarding confidential information. This permanent part‑time position contributes directly to CHEO’s mission of improving the lives of children and families.
Key responsibilities
- Type, transcribe dictated correspondence and format electronic reports.
- Prepare spreadsheets, documents, and presentations for review.
- Prioritize incoming mail and distribute documents to appropriate staff.
- Maintain awareness of clinical and provincial program activities to support departmental workflow.
- Handle confidential records and ensure compliance with privacy standards.
Required profile
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
