About the role
The Administrative Assistant provides the first point of contact for the Office of Student Academic Services (OSAS) and the Robert H. Lee Graduate School at UBC Sauder. This role ensures smooth office operations and supports the leadership team in delivering high‑quality academic services.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary receptionist and handle inquiries from students, faculty, and external partners.
- Provide confidential executive support to the leadership team, including calendar management and correspondence.
- Coordinate office administration tasks such as filing, record‑keeping, and supply management.
- Assist with human‑resources processes, including onboarding and employee documentation.
- Process financial transactions, prepare invoices, and support budget tracking.
- Plan and organize events, workshops, and meetings for OSAS and graduate programs.
Required profile
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
