About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Technician to join our head‑office team in Montréal. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting department with day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Post journal entries and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns, trial balances, and reconcile accounts.
- Generate trial balances and ensure all financial data is accurate and up‑to‑date.
Required profile
- College, CEGEP or comparable certificate/diploma (3 months to <1 year).
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment.
