Accounting Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Accounting Manager to join our team in Edmonton. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and driving the financial health of our organization through expert leadership and rigorous analysis.

Main Missions

• Supervise and manage daily accounting operations and the accounting team.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and perform in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Manage budgeting processes and monitor financial performance against organizational goals.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll management.
• Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with various departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Profile Required

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
• CPA designation or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in a management role within a finance department.
• Prior experience in residential construction or real estate accounting is considered a significant asset.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
