About the role

Ubisoft, a world leader in video game and entertainment software, is seeking a full‑time accountant for its Finance department at the Montreal studio. The role involves preparing financial statements for Canadian studios and supporting various accounting tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals as required.
• Perform analyses and account reconciliations on balance sheets and income statements.
• Participate in the month‑end closing process.
• Produce monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements and ad‑hoc reports.
• Participate in head‑office monthly reporting using Hyperion Financial Management.
• Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation between local and parent company tools.
• Assist in the preparation of half‑yearly and annual audit documentation.
• Support other tasks and projects assigned by management.
• Handle special projects as required.

Required profile

• Degree or certificate in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Practical experience with large‑scale financial systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in a multi‑company environment.
• Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) is an asset.
• Team spirit and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Experience collaborating with international parties and remote teams.
• Fluent in French.
