Accountant

About the role

Ubisoft’s Finance department is looking for a full‑time Accountant to prepare financial statements for its Canadian studios, support month‑end closing, and contribute to special projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals.
• Perform analyses and reconciliations on balance‑sheet and income‑statement items.
• Participate in month‑end closing and produce monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements.
• Support head‑office reporting using Hyperion Financial Management and handle inter‑company billing.
• Assist in audit preparation and other ad‑hoc financial projects.

Required profile

• Degree or certificate in accounting.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in French and comfortable working with international and remote teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM).
• Experience with large‑scale financial systems such as Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP.
• Ability to handle multi‑company environments and inter‑company reconciliations.
