Accountant

About the role

Ubisoft’s Montreal studio is seeking a full‑time Accountant to join its Finance department. The role focuses on preparing financial statements for Canadian studios and supporting month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals as required.
• Perform analyses and account reconciliations on balance sheets and income statements.
• Participate in the month‑end closing process and produce monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements.
• Support head‑office reporting using Hyperion Financial Management and manage intercompany billing and reconciliations.
• Assist in audit preparation and handle special projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree or certificate in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to work in a multi‑company environment.
• Fluent in French and able to collaborate with international teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with large‑scale financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP.
• Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
