Accountant

About the role

Ubisoft’s Montreal studio is looking for a full‑time Accountant to join its Finance department. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will prepare financial statements for the Canadian studios and support month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals.
• Perform analyses and reconciliations of balance‑sheet and income‑statement items.
• Participate in month‑end closing and produce monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements.
• Support head‑office reporting using Hyperion Financial Management.
• Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation between local and parent‑company systems.
• Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and special projects.

Required profile

• Degree or certificate in accounting (or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working in a multi‑company, international environment.
• Fluent in French.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Large‑scale financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP.
