Accountant

About the role

Ubisoft, a world leader in video game and entertainment software, is seeking a full‑time accountant for its Finance department at the Montreal studio. The position reports to the Chief Accountant and is responsible for preparing financial statements for the Canadian studios.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals as required.
• Perform analyses and account reconciliations on balance sheets and income statements.
• Participate in the month‑end closing process and produce monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements.
• Support head‑office monthly reporting using Hyperion Financial Management.
• Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation between local and parent‑company tools.
• Assist in the preparation of audit documents and special projects.

Required profile

• Degree or certificate in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts and multi‑company environments.
• Experience working with large‑scale financial systems.
• Fluent in French and able to collaborate with international teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with large‑scale financial systems such as Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
