Accountant – Finance Department

About the role

Ubisoft’s Montreal studio is looking for a full‑time Accountant to join its Finance department. The role supports the Canadian studios by preparing financial statements and ensuring accurate reporting. You will work closely with the Chief Accountant and international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals as required.
• Perform analyses and account reconciliations on balance sheets and income statements.
• Participate in the month‑end closing process and produce monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements.
• Support head‑office monthly reporting using Hyperion Financial Management.
• Handle intercompany billing, audit documentation and special projects.

Required profile

• Degree or certificate in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts and multi‑company environments.
• Experience with large‑scale financial systems such as Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP.
• Fluent French and ability to work with international and remote teams.
