About the role
Ubisoft, a world‑leader in video‑game and entertainment software, is seeking a full‑time Accountant for its Finance department at the Montreal studio. The role will prepare financial statements for Canadian studios and support a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals.
- Perform analyses and reconciliations on balance‑sheet and income‑statement items.
- Participate in month‑end closing and produce monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements.
- Contribute to head‑office reporting using Hyperion Financial Management.
- Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation between local and parent‑company tools.
- Assist in preparation of half‑yearly and annual audit documentation.
- Support special projects and other tasks assigned by management.
Required profile
- Degree or certificate in accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and principles.
- Experience with large‑scale financial systems such as Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working in a multi‑company environment.
- Familiarity with Hyperion (HFM) is an asset.
- Fluent in French and able to meet tight deadlines.
