Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Payable

About the role

Miniso Canada is expanding its finance team and seeks an Accountant specialized in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. You will support multiple store locations and corporate functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle AR and AP processes, including invoice processing, verification, and payment collection.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with operations, merchandising, and store teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to aid business decisions.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in AR/AP.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
