Account Manager - Taste

About the role

Kerry, the world‑leading taste and nutrition company, is looking for an Account Manager to drive growth of its Taste & Nutrition business across Ontario, primarily in the Greater Toronto Area. You will own a portfolio of customers, develop new opportunities and act as the commercial bridge between clients and Kerry’s product development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, negotiate and close new business opportunities with both new and existing customers.
• Defend and expand current accounts by managing a diverse project portfolio across flavours and health‑technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders (R&D, procurement, senior management) at customer sites.
• Collaborate with internal Kerry functions to deliver customised, value‑added product solutions.
• Manage complex pricing models aligned with customer expectations.
• Utilise Salesforce to track activities, pipeline and account health.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in food & beverage, supplements or related industries.
• Technical or R&D background is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food science and product development processes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to treat accounts as a personal business.
• Willingness to travel weekly to the Toronto region and occasional overnight visits (up to 25%).
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
