Account Manager – Strategic Media (Canada)

About the role

Cosmo5 is seeking an Account Manager to support a strategic media account in the Canadian financial services sector while also handling a portfolio of lifestyle brands. The role involves daily client communication, coordination of paid‑media campaigns and ensuring smooth delivery across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, translating requests into clear briefs, timelines and action items.
• Coordinate work across paid search, paid social, programmatic, data, reporting and media‑operations teams.
• Prepare meeting agendas, status updates, recaps and follow‑ups; track deadlines, approvals and campaign launches.
• Maintain project‑management tools with ownership, timing and status information.
• Identify risks, missing information and process issues early to keep projects on track.
• Support the Account Director in client reporting, performance reviews and monthly reporting.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in agency, media, account management or digital marketing.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in fast‑moving, deadline‑driven environments.
• Experience with financial services, B2B or regulated industries is a plus.

Required skills

• Paid search, paid social and programmatic advertising knowledge.
• Proficiency with project‑management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Wrike or similar.
• Google Workspace proficiency.
