Account Executive

About the role

Merchant Growth is seeking an Account Executive for its Inside Sales team. You will be the first point of contact for small business owners exploring financing options, managing the full sales cycle from initial conversation to funding. This is a 100% net‑new business role with a strong commission structure.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of net‑new prospects through outbound calls, inbound leads and referrals.
• Qualify merchants’ financing needs and match them with appropriate products and terms.
• Coordinate, negotiate and prepare funding applications, guiding merchants through the entire process.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and Salesloft and meet daily, weekly and monthly activity targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a full‑cycle, target‑driven sales role.
• 2+ years of outbound, phone‑based sales experience, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Strong communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable spending the majority of the day on the phone.
