Account Executive

About the role

Xello is seeking a results‑driven Account Executive to expand its presence across North American school districts. This remote position blends consultative selling with strategic pipeline development to deliver measurable value to educational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business by prospecting school districts and building a self‑generated pipeline.
• Collaborate with Business Development Representatives to meet pipeline targets.
• Conduct discovery calls, deliver online sales presentations, and manage the full sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecast revenue, and report on sales performance using Salesforce.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quota and be accountable for results.
• Represent Xello at industry conferences and client events.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and uphold confidentiality and code‑of‑conduct standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of B2B full‑cycle sales experience in an inside‑sales, territory, or business‑development role.
• Proven ability to design sales plans and manage pipelines to close deals.
• Strong communication style with a genuine, engaging manner.
• Comfortable with warm leads and cold‑calling over the phone.
• University degree and training in consultative selling techniques.
• Experience in SaaS or technology‑focused environments.

• On‑target earnings (OTE) ranging from $105,000 to $120,000 CAD (70% base, 30% incentive).
