About the role
The Yard Associate supports customers in the building‑supply yard, ensuring a safe, organized, and welcoming environment while assisting with product selection and checkout.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer product questions, and help locate items.
- Maintain yard standards by restocking shelves, keeping merchandise clean and organized, and supporting inventory counts.
- Process basic paperwork such as invoices and delivery documents.
- Use the store’s D365 system to update inventory when receiving or removing products.
Required profile
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to lift up to 75 lb.
- Availability for rotating day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the D365 computer system for order processing.
- Sales and customer‑service experience.
