Winter 2027 Commercial Portfolio Management Internship

About the role

Join EQ Bank’s Commercial Portfolio Management team for a winter internship (January‑April 2027) in Toronto. You will support the annual review and renewal processes for BES and CFG credit portfolios, coordinating documentation, site inspections and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Determine documentation requirements for complex loan structures and communicate them to clients, brokers and lending partners.
• Maintain and update the annual review pipeline and site‑inspection reporting, ensuring completeness before forwarding to account managers.
• Review received site inspections, flagging any issues to managers and supporting renewal coordination during vacations.
• Manage your workflow to meet prescribed deadlines and provide daily reporting on renewals and extensions.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education (diploma or degree) in business, finance or a related field.
• Prior experience completing and reviewing asset site inspections.
• Strong time‑management, organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism is an asset.
