Windows Systems Administrator – Hybrid (Canada)

About the role

This hybrid position is based in Canada and focuses on designing, securing and optimizing the enterprise Windows infrastructure. The successful candidate will act as a technical expert, driving automation, reliability and security improvements across the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, tune and automate Windows servers and services to enhance performance and availability.
• Investigate and resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.
• Apply security patches, remediate vulnerabilities and support security audits using privileged access management (JEA, JIT).
• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using DevOps practices.
• Create and update technical documentation and mentor team members.
• Identify modernization opportunities and recommend innovative Microsoft technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing enterprise Windows environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a bilingual (English/French) setting.
• Experience with automation, scripting and infrastructure modernization.
