Wash Aisle Operator

About the role

The Wash Aisle Operator is responsible for processing soiled textiles through washing and drying stages in an industrial laundry environment. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will ensure a smooth flow of materials and support overall production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry processing equipment.
• Monitor washing and drying cycles, input required data into automated washing systems, and ensure proper cycle completion.
• Maintain efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next production stage.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to the Production Manager.
• Follow safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to support production flow and perform different tasks based on daily operational needs.
• Team‑oriented attitude in a production environment.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts and hoists.
• Use of automated washing system interfaces.
