Warehouse Technician – Mining Operations

About the role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Technician will manage the receipt, storage and distribution of major materials such as fuel, oil, mill reagents, tires and drilling supplies to support mine operations at Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District. The role requires strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high‑performance internal customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving and distribution of all major materials for inventory purchases.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Enter purchase order and service entry data in the SAP ERP system with precision.
• Research items in SAP, assist with physical counts and audits.
• Process timely receipt of major materials and support the Supply Chain department.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of warehouse experience in an industrial setting, preferably mining.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with inventory and ERP software, especially SAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work across cultures.
