Warehouse Project Management Office Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Project Management Office (PMO) Assistant will support the PMO in delivering high‑priority projects for Nippon Express' Warehousing and Distribution business. This national position ensures projects move from concept to execution on schedule, aligning with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Apply NECA business, project and change‑management methodologies across assigned projects.
• Monitor project progress, flag deviations, and coordinate remedial actions with managers and sponsors.
• Validate business cases, assess ROI and strategic alignment.
• Assist in defining project objectives, structure, and stakeholder communication.
• Organise milestone meetings, facilitate information flow, and highlight key achievements.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to optimise stakeholder time and project documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, project management, supply chain or sales.
• Strong data‑analysis capability with both operational and financial data.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills, able to simplify complex information for senior leadership.
• Team‑player who can build consensus and manage multiple priorities.
