Warehouse Clerk

About the role

Pomerleau is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join its logistics team in Sainte‑Catherine. You will manage the flow of goods that support large‑scale civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring materials are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, count, weigh, sort, and classify incoming supplies from suppliers, offices, and construction sites.
• Store items in an organized manner for easy access and maintain their condition.
• Process internal merchandise requests and prepare outbound shipments to sites or suppliers.
• Load and unload goods using pallet trucks, forklifts, or other lifting equipment.
• Maintain inventory registers and filing systems, both manual and computerized.
• Prepare replenishment orders and issue product recommendations to warehouse users.
• Complete shipping documentation, track deliveries, and participate in regular stock‑taking.

Required profile

• DES, ASP or DEP in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, parts clerking, storekeeping, or tool rental.
• Demonstrated autonomy, adaptability and a strong teamwork orientation.
• Meticulous, methodical and rigorous work habits.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Pallet‑truck handling.
• WHMIS training or TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification.
• Experience with inventory management systems (manual or computerized).
