Warehouse Associate

About the role

Upper Canada Forest Products is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join its Burnaby distribution centre. You will play a key part in ensuring that wood products are handled safely, accurately, and delivered on time to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products manually and with a forklift.
• Prepare orders for shipment, verifying quantity and type before loading.
• Secure freight and handle loads according to safety standards.
• Tag, mark or label stock items and place them in the correct storage locations.
• Operate a small delivery truck for local product deliveries.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Enter inventory updates into the ERP system and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with company policies and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Previous experience operating a forklift (forklift licence is an asset).
• Ability to lift, pull and push approximately 75 lb repeatedly and safely.
• Team‑oriented attitude with strong customer‑service focus.

Required skills
