Warehouse Associate – Evening Shift

About the role

Join Canada Cartage as an Evening Shift Warehouse Associate, reporting to the Operations Supervisor. You will handle inbound and outbound freight safely and accurately, using a variety of powered material handling equipment and an RF gun.

Key responsibilities

• Receive inbound stock items, maintain quality and note any deficiencies.
• Pick orders accurately and complete required documentation.
• Perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Operate a sit‑down counter‑balance forklift, stand‑up deep‑reach truck, and walkie‑riders safely.
• Conduct maintenance checks on material handling equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and perform general warehouse duties.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (Grade 12) or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• TDG and WHMIS training.
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada and residence in Winnipeg.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (sit‑down counter‑balance).
• Reach‑truck operation (stand‑up deep‑reach).
• Walkie‑rider operation.
• RF gun usage.
• Knowledge of TDG and WHMIS safety protocols.
