Vice President, Product Data Platform (Economic Intelligence)

About the role

Mastercard Economic Intelligence is seeking a strategic and execution‑oriented Vice President to own the vision, strategy, and delivery of its future product data platform. This senior leader will operate at the intersection of technology, customer needs, and business strategy, scaling foundational capabilities while incubating new growth‑driving products.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the long‑term platform vision for Economic Intelligence.
• Partner with engineering leadership on architecture, delivery sequencing, and technical trade‑offs.
• Drive platform vs. product strategy to enable reuse, scalability, and speed.
• Establish a clear roadmap balancing reliability, extensibility, and rapid delivery.
• Lead discovery and incubation of new product concepts, translating market opportunities into validated hypotheses.
• Run structured experimentation cycles (MVPs, pilots, beta programs) and transition successful innovations into scaled products.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and customer‑centric thinking.
• Implement product development processes from discovery through scale.

Required profile

• Seasoned product management experience with a track record of delivering products in collaboration with engineering.
• Strong business acumen and ability to build alignment across cross‑functional teams.
• Proven success launching new products from concept to market.
• Comfortable balancing structured analysis with creative problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication skills with authenticity and eloquence.
