Vice President, Operations

About the role

Mara Renewables Corporation is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join its Senior Leadership Team. The role will shape and execute the global operational strategy, building manufacturing capacity and ensuring supply chain, quality, and engineering excellence across the company’s worldwide network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the global operations strategy, aligning with growth, cost, and quality objectives.
• Manage relationships with external contract manufacturing organizations, negotiating contracts and overseeing performance metrics.
• Drive the expansion of precision‑fermentation and oil‑refining assets, evaluating and executing investment opportunities.
• Oversee global supply chain functions to ensure reliability, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
• Direct quality assurance and quality control activities to meet regulatory and customer standards.
• Lead engineering initiatives that support capacity expansion, technical innovation, and process optimization.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in global operations, preferably within biotech, food, or nutrition sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale manufacturing capabilities.
• Strong track record in partnership management and contract manufacturing oversight.
• Experience driving continuous‑improvement cultures and cross‑functional collaboration.
