Vice President of Operations

About the role

The Vice President of Operations will lead an established, high‑performing production site, preserving its strong culture while rapidly expanding capacity. You will drive operational excellence, ensure safety and quality, and keep Kicking Horse Coffee among Canada’s Best Workplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the Senior Leadership Team to shape the company’s strategic direction.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term plans for infrastructure, facilities, equipment, logistics and production capacity.
• Communicate a clear vision, allocate resources, and remove barriers to enable team execution.
• Maintain manufacturing best practices that meet product quality and food‑safety standards.
• Prioritise employee safety and continuously improve the work environment.
• Empower and develop senior operational leaders, building on existing strengths.
• Embed sustainability into operations, identifying process improvements and technologies that reduce environmental impact.
• Apply Kaizen principles to drive continuous improvement with respect for people.
• Act as a liaison between Lavazza headquarters, the senior leadership team and the production site.
