Vice President, Integration Management Office

About the role

The Vice President of the Integration Management Office (IMO) is accountable for the end‑to‑end execution of the bank’s enterprise integration, bringing two established Canadian banking businesses together into a stronger, more efficient combined bank. The role sits at the intersection of the Executive Leadership Team, Board, regulators and external transition service providers, converting complexity into clear decisions and execution plans.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integrated master plan and critical path across all workstreams, maintaining baseline, change‑control discipline and monthly re‑forecast.
• Maintain a single integration budget view, turning cost‑to‑complete into a live number and feeding it into financial planning cycles.
• Chair the funding pathway, run investment gates and recommend approvals based on scope, cost, value and design.
• Run execution governance with a unified register of risks, issues, dependencies and decisions, escalating as required.
• Lead change management and people readiness for the combined bank, aligning employee readiness with customer conversion events.
• Act as the single front door for regulatory engagement, ensuring consistent and complete content for reviews and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years leading large‑scale transformation, post‑merger integration or enterprise program delivery within banking or financial services, with accountability for nine‑figure investment programs.
