Vice President, Administrative & Support Services

About the role

The Vice President of Administrative & Support Services leads the operational backbone of Riverside Health Care, overseeing hospitals, long‑term care homes and community services across the Rainy River District. Reporting to the President & CEO, the VP shapes strategies that enable high‑quality patient care through effective workforce and administrative management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for corporate and operational services, including human resources, finance, facilities and supply chain.
• Develop and execute workforce planning, talent development, labour‑relations and culture initiatives to attract and retain staff.
• Partner with senior leaders to align administrative functions with clinical priorities and regional growth plans.
• Drive innovation and performance improvement across all support services.
• Guide change management during capital investments, new care models and regional collaborations.
• Contribute to the executive team’s leadership culture and strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level leadership experience in health‑care administration or a comparable complex organization.
• Demonstrated success in workforce strategy, talent management and labour‑relations.
• Strong track record of driving operational excellence and change initiatives.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
