Utility Operator – Feed Mill

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Utility Operator to join our feed mill in Cupar. The role involves handling finished product lorries, raw material intake and supporting hygiene and safety standards in a fast‑moving production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load finished product lorries accurately, ensuring correct feed types and performing quality checks.
• Weigh and inspect incoming raw material vehicles, conduct quality checks and route materials to appropriate storage.
• Prepare and supply hand‑tip additions for feed blending.
• Maintain high hygiene standards across the mill and follow improvement plans.
• Support food safety compliance and UFAS standards.
• Follow company health and safety regulations and contribute to site safety initiatives.
• Participate in regular stock checks and help track performance measures such as KPIs and hygiene scores.

Required profile

• Experience in food, agricultural or production environments.
• Confidence working with automated plant machinery.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
• Highly organised with a calm, positive attitude under pressure.
• Open to innovation and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Basic PC skills.
