User Interface Designer for TV & Film

About the role

Scarab Digital is seeking a User Interface Designer to create believable, story‑driven screen graphics for TV and film productions in Vancouver. You will work under senior designers, building interactive mockups for phones, tablets and computers that appear on‑camera and support the narrative.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers to understand project requirements and narrative goals.
• Create detailed, visually compelling UI designs for operating systems, applications and web pages.
• Produce mockups for phones, tablets and computers that fit within film and television worlds.
• Ensure designs align with the overall visual style and story of each production.
• Stay current on industry trends and technology to enhance realism.
• Animate UI elements to match scripted beats.
• Incorporate feedback and references into production‑ready designs.
