Truck Trailer Mechanic

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Truck Trailer Mechanic to maintain and repair truck‑trailer systems. You will work on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and diesel components, ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Confirm findings with supervisor to decide whether to repair or replace a unit.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck‑trailer systems.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and complete work reports.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working on truck‑trailer systems.
• Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
