About the role
We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Tire King Truck & Trailer Repair in Abbotsford. The role involves maintaining and repairing commercial transport trucks and trailers in a fast‑paced, dusty workshop environment.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck, automotive and truck‑trailer systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and diagnose malfunctions.
- Estimate parts and labour costs and advise customers on completed work and future repair needs.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in truck‑trailer repair.
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in dusty, dirty and noisy workshop conditions.
- Strong client focus, reliability, punctuality and teamwork.
Required skills
- Mechanical diagnostics of commercial trucks.
- Repair and replacement of truck‑trailer components.
- Cost estimation for parts and labour.
