About the role
We are looking for an experienced truck driver to transport goods for Findlay Foods across local and regional routes. The role involves loading and unloading deliveries, handling cash transactions, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Collect and process payments for delivered goods.
- Maintain a complete driver logbook for each trip.
- Complete pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspection reports.
- Prepare detailed trip reports.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of local or regional driving experience.
- Valid DZ class driver’s licence.
- Bondable with a clean driving record and licence checks.
- Physically capable of handling loads up to 45 kg (100 lb).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documentation procedures.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
- Reliable team player with good interpersonal skills.
