About the role
Join Cooney Transit Inc. as a truck driver operating lighter and special‑purpose trucks. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely while adhering to company standards and schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Drive lighter and special‑purpose trucks to transport goods.
- Load and unload cargo safely.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
Required profile
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
- 7 months to 1 year of truck‑driving experience.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and overtime.
Required skills
- Perform vehicle inspections before, during and after trips.
- Complete driver logbooks and accident/incident reports.
