Truck Driver – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

Broadwayz Trucking Inc is seeking reliable truck drivers to join its Edmonton fleet on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will operate straight or articulated trucks, transporting goods across various locations while ensuring safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo, secure it with tarps, and verify load integrity.
• Drive straight‑or‑articulated trucks, adhering to all traffic and company regulations.
• Inspect vehicle condition daily, including tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage units and other equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and routine preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with central dispatch, recording cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Maintain safety and security of cargo throughout each trip.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• Valid Class 1 (or Class A) driver’s licence.
• Air‑Brake (Z) endorsement.
• Willingness to work day shifts and weekends.
• No prior experience required – training will be provided.
