About the role
IN & OUT TRUCK SERVICE LTD. is seeking a reliable full‑time Truck Driver to join its Edmonton team. You will operate straight or articulated trucks, delivering goods to various locations while ensuring safety and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo, secure loads with tarps, and verify documentation.
- Drive straight‑or‑articulated trucks to transport goods across assigned routes.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily, including tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage units and other equipment.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and routine preventive maintenance.
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with central dispatch, providing updates and receiving instructions.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
- Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to work evenings, days and weekends as needed.
