Truck Driver – Flexible Hours – No Experience Required

About the role

Lucky Transportation Inc is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join its Calgary fleet. This permanent, full‑time position offers flexible hours and on‑the‑job training for candidates without prior experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and computer systems to optimise fuel use and reduce emissions.
• Provide professional customer service and address client concerns.
• Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage units and other equipment before, during and after trips.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Secure cargo with tarping and ensure safety throughout transport.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
• Ability to operate an extended‑length tractor‑trailer combination.
• No prior driving experience required – training will be provided.

Required skills

• Air Brakes endorsement.
• Class 1 driver’s licence.
• Operation of GPS navigation and basic computer equipment.
• Extended length tractor‑trailer handling.
